Currently scheduled for lauch in 2016, the Maserati Alfieri's final design is noted as not being altered much from the concepts that have already been released. The Maserati Alfieri will be entering to highly competitive sports car market, being engineered to compete with competitors such as the Porsche 911 and Jaguar Type-F, sharing key design structure with GranTurismo.

The Maserati Alfieri, like the Ghibli and Quattroporte, will come with a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine and its base model will start around 410-horsepower, with an upgrade option to 450-horsepower.
